Cherry Limeade Sangria
By now you have either become a junky of my drink recipes or this is the first recipe you have found on Farmwife Drinks. Regardless, you will know I love me some frozen limeade and lemonade. I use it in my favorite punch recipe as well the green version of my punch. Plus, there is my hop, skip and go naked beer punch too. The rose sangria is also brought to life via some lemonade concentrate. I love me some frozen concentrates.
Start by slicing two limes and dropping them into a large pitcher like my mason jar pitcher. Pour a jar of maraschino cherries along with their juice over top of the limes. This is the natural fruit to get the flavors flowing on this cherry limeade sangria.
Add the frozen limeade concentrate, Cherry Cobbler wine, and cherry vodka. Stir to combine and dissolve the limeade into the wine and vodka. Fill up the pitcher the rest of the way with four cups of the cherry 7-Up.On a hot summer day, I would serve this over ice or even frozen cherries. You will want to make sure this stays chilled. It is completely refreshing. Ice cold cherry limeade sangria is always better poolside.
Hurry and grab the cherry cobbler wine before it goes away for the season. All good things must come to end. Even there apple pie wine I love in my apple pie sangria isn't available all year long. In Indiana, I have seen it at several grocery stores. You also can go pay Oliver Winery a visitDon't have Oliver Wine available to you?
