Fireball Cider Cocktail is a simple fall cocktail that can be served on ice or with hot cider with Fireball Whisky to keep you warm around a campfire. Apples and cinnamon were made for each other. Period. So, this Fireball Cider Cocktail is simply a match made in heaven since it is the sweet combination of apple cider with the warmth of the Fireball whiskey. It might as well become the official drink of fall.
Apple cider is one of those drinks that always instill memories in me. From my kindergarten field trip to a classmate's farm where their grandparents made fresh cider. Fresh cider is sort of like milk straight from the cow, nothing better. However, you can have too much apple cider and we learned that fact in kindergarten.
Fireball Cider Cocktail
As obvious by the name, this cocktail is made out of apple cider and Fireball Whiskey. However, I like my cocktails to also have a little fizz in them too. I add a splash of ginger ale to the cocktails, just like I did for the Fireball Apple Cherry Bombs. Don't like fizz or don't do ginger ale, go ahead and just drink the apple cider and Fireball.
The great thing about this cocktail is you could make a big pitcher of apple cider and ginger ale for a great apple cider punch. Then you can just add the Fireball to your glass of cider punch. The kids get a fun fall mocktail then too.
For extra fun, I added a cinnamon and sugar rim to the cocktail glasses to just make the glass a bit fancier. The sweetness was also added to the fireball cocktail cider.

You can also make a boilermaker by adding a shot or two of Fireball to a hard cider like Angry Orchard.

Wonder if this would be good served warm? Maybe in a coffee urn at a bonfire.
Leah Beyer
It would be amazing warm! Definitely just heat the apple cider though.
