I have a need to drink as few calories and carbs as possible. This means I need to avoid my first love, beer, more than I wish. While I have a lot of low-carb cocktail options, lately I have been craving a drink that dates back to my college days. The O and O was a drink of choice all over the University of Illinois campus. It was a combination of orange pop and mandarin vodka. Today, I give to you the low-carb O and O with this low-carb orange vodka cocktail.

Low-Carb orange vodka cocktail is a zero-carb alcoholic drink that is a great combination of orange diet soda and vodka. Simple yet a great change-up from vodka and soda water or diet coke and rum.

Low-Carb Orange Vodka Cocktail

I drink a ton of sparkling ICE drinks and cherry Coke zero throughout the day. But lately, I have a new love. Diet Sunkist. I haven't had much orange pop in adulthood, but as I kid I was obsessed with Orange Crush and the grape version as well. So since I have Diet Sunkist in the fridge on the regular now, I decided it should be just as good combined with vodka.

In a highball glass, fill with ice and then add a shot of vodka. Top off the cocktail with the diet orange soda and stir to combine.

The vodka you use for this can be whatever you fancy. If you have mandarin absolute vodka on hand, this will make this low-carb orange vodka cocktail even better. I used a special vodka brought to me from Texas from the one and only Mike Goode. This Ultra Premium Enchanted Rock Vodka is smooth. I recommend this vodka for any cocktail you are making.
