Margaritas are my favorite. Ok, well the second favorite behind martinis. Regardless, I love me some margaritas. Spicy Pineapple Margaritas. Strawberry Frozen Margaritas. Champagne Margaritas. They are all my so yummy. In my preparations for Cinco de Mayo, I decided to make a pitcher of margaritas. Strawberry Limeade Margaritas combine frozen limeade with fresh strawberries along with tequila and triple sec to make a whole pitcher of margaritas to enjoy.
Easy cocktail recipes are my thing and these strawberry limeade margaritas are a simple margarita recipe. So lets take a look at some of my favorite ones!
Strawberry Limeade Margaritas
The two base ingredients for these easy strawberry margaritas are a pound of strawberries and a can of frozen limeade. In a blender like my Ninja blender, puree the strawberries in the limeade. When the strawberries are finally pureed, pour into a glass pitcher.
To the strawberry and limeade combination, add a limeade can of water and a can of tequila. Fill the can about half full of triple sec and pour into the pitcher. Stir to combine the margaritas.
Rim your margarita glasses of choice with a mixture of margarita salt and sugar by running a slice of lime around the edge of the glass and spinning through the salt and sugar. When the glasses are all salted, pour the strawberry limeade margaritas into the glasses.
Garnish the margaritas with a slice of lime and strawberry. As a result of blending, your margaritas will be frothy and smooth. If you want them even colder, feel free to serve on the rocks.
If you prefer frozen margaritas, feel free to use frozen strawberries for this recipe instead of fresh to make a more frozen margarita. The margaritas are great mocktails as well. Just leave the alcohol out of the mix for a great strawberry limeade for the kids like our cherry limeade slushies.
