Hot summer days call for ice cold slushie drinks. Having bags and bags of frozen strawberries leaves my kids always wanting smoothies. On one hot day, I decided to combine frozen strawberries and pink lemonade to make these fun and delicious strawberry pink lemonade slushies.
Strawberry Pink Lemonade Slushies combine frozen strawberries with pink lemonade to make a great, refreshing frozen mocktail for the kids and adults to enjoy all day long.
Strawberry Pink Lemonade Slushies
This is a two-ingredient frozen treat. It really doesn't get any simpler than that! I always have a bunch of Country Time Pink Lemonade
 on hand. Since I had a pitcher already made up, when the kids asked for smoothies I decided to make them slushies instead.
I try to always have frozen strawberries. I love the sliced strawberries from Sam's Club since they come in four-pound bags at about the same cost of a one-pound bag at a normal store.
Begin by filling your blender
or food processor
with the sliced strawberries. I used one pound of strawberries roughly.
Pour about two cups of pink lemonade over the top of the strawberries. Then blend until completely purred. Add more lemonade if the mixture is too thick. You definitely want it to be pourable or rather drinkable.
Pour the mixture into glasses for all the kids. Let me just tell you, you might as well just pour two glass per kid. And maybe save some for the adults too. Strawberry lemonade with vodka is always a parent favorite.
