I think I only know one person who loves Prosecco more than I do. @TheBrookeClay. I make sure I always have a bottle chilling just in case her gypsy travels bring her into my kitchen. For this reason, I experiment a lot with Prosecco. This Strawberry Prosecco Punch recipe is a new favorite when I need to serve a crowd who doesn't want to get toasted.
Strawberry Prosecco Punch
If you have been reading my blog for a while, you will know this is not going to be a complicated recipe. Three ingredients: Frozen strawberries, Prosecco, and ginger ale.
I start with a 24-ounce container of sliced strawberries in syrup. Yes, the sugar laden ones that come in a plastic container. Just like the ones I used in my Champagne Margaritas.
In a large punch bowl or trifle bowl like I used, Pour the half thawed frozen strawberries and then pour the Prosecco and ginger ale over top. Warning, the ginger ale doesn't all fit in the trifle bowl.
Serve the strawberry prosecco punch in punch glasses or stemless wine glasses. Garnish with fresh strawberries. Be sure to give the punch a good stir to the punch if the frozen strawberries settle to the bottom.
